The Global Services Group (GSG) at American Express delivers extraordinary customer care to Card Members and Merchants around the world, while providing world-class credit, collections and fraud services, and driving revenue growth for the company. The Servicing Capabilities Team is a global team of product professionals leading the product strategy, roadmap and delivery for the suite of capabilities used by Colleagues and Customers that touch our Servicing Network. We are responsible for empowering our Colleagues with tools and solutions needed to drive engagement and satisfaction with our Customers, recognize and solve their needs with ease.

We are seeking a motivated Product Owner who is ready to put the customer first and design and implement products and solutions that deliver clear business and platform outcomes.

As part of the Storage Platform product team within Digital Servicing Capabilities, this person will be responsible for supporting enterprise storage requirements. The product owner will be expected to collaborate across the business and across various platforms to drive the build to completion that meets strict storage data requirements. The product owner will participate actively in all phases of the development process with the Engineering team and with partners from other lines of business.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Product Owner for full stack engineering teams working on the Enterprise Storage platforms
- Writing features, user stories with acceptance criteria that the engineering teams develop upon
- Establish and maintain good agile development practices
- Maintain high data quality standards by working with stakeholders to provide the data that is needed for compliant document storage
- Partner closely with Compliance and the Global Records Management as well as the Engineering teams
- Input into the product roadmap for the Storage Platform

**Qualifications**:

- Significant experience in Product Management and/or Product Development
- Experience with Outbound Communications or Inbound Communications a plus
- Agile SAFe experience a plus
- Highly motivated and passionate for creating best-in-class products and customer experiences
- Experience working with Engineering and process teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive decision making, collaboration and alignment
- Ability to build strong relationships with key business partners and stakeholders and take a proactive approach to collaboration
- A proven ability to define clear customer needs and features and gain buy-in and confidence at multiple levels of the organization
- Experience delivering new experiences and business metrics with a customer-first mindset
