Patient Navigators will play a pivotal role in supporting the directorate teams by navigating and tracking patients along their elective journey. There will be a requirement to co-ordinate hospital appointments, investigations and treatment, whilst identifying patients who may breach national waiting time targets. Appropriate positive action may be required to negate this possibility, communicating with the relevant management teams.
