£25,000 - £30,000 plus

Reports to: People Services Manager

Directorate: Chief Operating Office

Contract: 12 month fixed-term contract or Secondment Opportunity

Hours: Full time 35 hours per week - we are open to flexible working requests such as compressed hours.

Location: Stratford, London Office-based with high flexibility (1-2 days per week in the office)

Cancer Research UK have an opportunity for an ambitious and proactive People Services Coordinator. You will join our HR Operations team and Provide a high-quality service to managers and employees on employee lifecycle processing and general queries regarding all aspects of HR policy, process and procedure.

This is a great opportunity for an HR administrator or HR Coordinator to take the next step in their career, with opportunity to build on your HR understanding and knowledge and get involved with various HR related projects as well as upskilling yourself by supporting the wider team with more complex HR related work. We also have opportunities for continued learning through our apprenticeship scheme.

What will I be doing?- Support in ensuring all appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met within the helpdesk team.- Administration of HR processes through our HR system, including contract variations, leavers and all family friendly leave arrangements all within agreed SLAs.- Monitor contract end dates and eligibility checking dates, notifying managers of these and advising on the process as required.- Deliver training on our HR system and processes for team members, and employees and managers when required- Contribute to the review, and continuous improvement of, team working practices and processes.-
- Contribute to projects or pieces of work outlined in the HR operational plan.

What skills will I need?- Excellent in-depth knowledge of HR processes and associated policies.- Well organised with a strong ability to prioritise.- Experience of providing great customer service and demonstrates a drive to do so.- Ability to confidently and appropriately manage and communicate a range of information.- Strong problem-solving skills.- Ability to work at pace in a high volume fast paced shared services centre
