- We are currently recruiting a Governance & Risk Consultant to join our growing team.You will also help optimise the management of risks and enable consistent reporting to the LGRI senior leadership teams.

What you'll be doing
- Supporting analysis and reporting for One Sum X, issues, actions and events, across LGRI with additional oversight and understanding of attestations and queries on a regular and cyclical basis.
- Undertaking analysis and provide consistency in documentation, reporting and information collation from various MI Data points and prepare presentations for the various forums and meetings to drive actions and improvements.
- Working with LGRI to review and embed control enhancements to meet regulatory and/or Group requirements
- Within Operational Resilience, you will be required to support with component testing and tracking, revalidations of business service inventories, stress testing tracking, outcome monitoring and manual workarounds.
- Attendance at Governance meetings to review compliance and provide guidance on Group Policy requirements.
- Ensuring that the principles of Conduct Risk are embedded into your day-to-day operations to deliver good customer outcomes at all times, by ensuring that all business processes and internal controls within your role are designed and performed in a way that delivers good customer outcomes and demonstrates effective management of Conduct Risk.

What we're looking for
- Degree educated-desirable but not essential with a focus on suitable comparable/demonstrable role experience and capability
- Regulated Industry background preference
- Risk or Governance and Data analysis experience with track record of effective execution and experience of shaping and analysing opportunities to derive conclusions.
- Experience of analysing opportunities to support risk planning for delivery of large, complex initiatives and proven background in adapting to trends and openness to new ideas
- Technology appreciation and awareness
- Track record of building effective relationships to enable execution of analysis tasks and delivery plans
- Ensuring innovation activities and outcomes build confidence across all levels with technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work independently focusing on priorities, and managing a range of tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions
- Effective at making good decisions and delivering great outcomes in in line with BT&T governance and risk plans and collaborative worker who freely shares their knowledge and experience
- Good interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to engage across various internal and external businesses and support functions to develop, get buy-in and deliver approaches across the innovation area and wider BT&T and LGRI teams
