**Payroll Technical Specialist - Employee Life Cycle**

Are you passionate about payroll and looking to grow and develop in your career?

We are the 4th largest authority in the country so our payroll service is very busy supporting over 35,000 employees working within public sector organisations.

You will be playing a vital role supporting the service managers to develop and deliver the service improvement plan within the Employee Life Cycle team.

We are looking for an efficient and experienced Payroll Technician who is self-motivated and able to engage with others to drive projects forward to completion and able to problem solve effectively.

Key areas of responsibility will include the review and development of the payroll system (Oracle Fusion) including system testing, ad hoc project work continuous review of processes and effective staff training to improve quality standards within the Employee Life Cycle Team.

Payroll is a deadline driven service so you will need to be highly organised and have a gift for prioritising. We want you to focus on service excellence and strive to achieve continuous improvement to deliver the best possible service for the authority.
