**Role Responsibility**:
On a day-to-day basis, the successful Site Agent’s responsibilities will include (not limited to) the following:
- Promoting and Leading the site safety culture; ensuring that all works are carried out in a planned, controlled and safe manner
- Complying with all HSQE systems; implementing these on site
- Managing and measuring on site productivity and performance
- Managing procurement and performance of sub-contractors
- Ensuring that works’ activities are carried out efficiently
- Maintaining and developing customer relationships
- Optimising targeted financial contribution for the scheme
The successful applicant in the role of Site Agent will have an Engineering background with experience of a range of different Civil Engineering projects.
- ESSENTIAL - A solid comprehension of current methods and up to date knowledge of specifications and contract principles
- ESSENTIAL - Demonstrable personal and organisational skills
- ESSENTIAL - A good understanding of NEC ECC Contracts
- ESSENTIAL - Strong experience of the planning and programming process, along with a high level of commercial acumen
- ESSENTIAL - Be able to motivate your team and to prioritise and manage workload for both yourself and others within your team and the wider business
For this role you must hold a FULL UK car driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
Education/Certification Requirements:
- DESIRABLE - Preferably a further education qualification e.g. Degree or HND/HNC (ideally relatable to Civil Engineering)
- DESIRABLE - CSCS Black Card (Including relevant NVQ)
- DESIRABLE - SMSTS
- DESIRABLE - SEATS
- DESIRABLE - Temporary Works Coordinator
