**Role Responsibility**:
Reporting directly to the Head of Planning, the **Project Planner **will be responsible for assisting the Design Manager in the coordination of the design process on a project from tender to client and end-user handover.

On a day to day basis, the responsibilities of the **Project Planner** will include the following (not exhaustive):

- Managing controlled project documentation
- Drawing up and supporting the implementation of a construction programme
- Defining methods and establishing outputs in consultation with the estimator and other team members
- Preparing a resourced programme including reviewing the outcome for conformance with expectations and requirements
- Compiling the forecast programmes
- Contributing to the identification of change and undertaking assessments of the time effects
- Preparing, maintaining and communicating the contractual programme to meet requirements
- Working with the Site Agents to understand progress, milestones and activity completion
- Treating Health and Safety and environmental matters as primary drivers of approach
- Graduate degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and if you are a Chartered Civil Engineer, would prove highly beneficial
- Able to demonstrate a wide range of Civil Engineering knowledge
- Demonstrable experience in Planning Software packages. If you have experience in any of P6, ASTA Powerproject and Microsoft Project, this would be advantageous in this role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages such as - Word and Excel
