Working with industry, health and social care providers, academia, government, professional bodies and support agencies to accelerate access to healthand care innovation, making a positive impact for people and businesses.?

We are looking for an experienced leader with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, who understands the life sciences ecosystem and can generate a pipeline of innovation and development opportunities.

**Description**

Your role will be to identify, build and maintain relationships with both industry leaders and NHS stakeholders to create strategic partnerships that will promote innovation and improvements across the health and social care sector in Wales.

The Head of Partnerships has responsibility for delivering a focused and strategic approach to stakeholder engagement. Building, influencing and maintaining impactful partnerships with a focus on delivery and results, both nationally and internationally.Developing and maintaining collaboration across industry, health and social care providers, academia and including government, professional bodies and support agencies.

Key responsibilities include
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive engagement strategy?
- Managing the Partnership team providing strong leadership??
- Managing delivery of a programme of events from roundtables to international conferences
- Identifying and understand the clinical needs and health challenges encountered by the NHS and social care providers
- Further establish LSHW as a strategic partner working across the Welsh health innovation ecosystem, promoting enhanced collaboration and making it easier for innovators to engage and be supported
- Account relationship management including co-ordination of delivery across LSHW and collaboration with other organisations e.g. Business Wales

- Head of Sector Intelligence

**External**:

- Clinicians
- Medical Directors
- Senior stakeholders in the NHS and Social Care sector

**Profile**

Essential Requirements:

- Proven experience in building strategic relationship and partnerships with external stakeholders

Ideal Requirements:

- Industry experience within or working with the NHS and Healthcare sector
