**Technical Administrator**
**Glasgow**

**The Role**:
Providing an administrative supporting role across multiple projects, with the aim of aiding manufacturing engineers and managers complete a variety of tasks as efficiently and diligently as possible. The role involves arranging and preparing meetings, tracking expenditure, monitoring action closure as well as many other general administrative tasks that can help the team. Documents or monthly metrics may need to be prepared with data that must be clear and accurate. You will offer support to projects across the UK and offer any assistance required.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Arrange meetings, minute taking, and preparing documents.
- Monitoring the actions and meeting tracking tool to expedite action closure and keep up to date for audits
- Updating work package descriptions and ensuring that they are completed to an expected standard and working with the core engineering team to update the change log on associated work packages as required.
- Monitoring weekly costs on the projects work packages and collating a monthly reconciliation of costs with the financial reporting system
- Collating costs and updating tracking spread sheets for systems engineering managers.
- Assisting engineering managers and project managers to update the resource management tool and align with current project needs
- Liaising with engineering teams to update task lists with current progress and working with project planners and project managers to update the master schedule
- Tracking supplier Requests for information (RFI) process and liaising between engineers and outside agencies to ensure that any information or changes are approved within a reasonable turnaround time to avoid delays.
- Providing ad-hoc assistance across multiple sites to help resolve any issues or problems that may arise
- General ad-hoc admin support for the project team

**About you**:

- Minimum 3 Highers of which Maths and English at a minimum B
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Applications (MS Word and MS Excel)
- Skilled in the use of Excel creating reports and manipulating data.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Organised
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Familiar with working in a budget and schedule constrained environment
- Power BI
- ERP System experience is desirable
