**About this role**:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Human Resources Consultant. This is a highly collaborative role, consulting on business needs, partnering with HR Centre's of Expertise (CoE) and other regional and US partners leveraging HR expertise and strategic perspective,to provide human capital business solutions while mitigating risk.
This role will focus on strategies, practices, and processes for managing a range of people matters providing comprehensive consulting, coaching and education, and covering the full employee lifecycle, to leaders across various business areas in the EMEA region.There will also be some dedicated focus on sickness absence.
**In this role, you will**work with the HRBP team, COEs and business leaders to execute in the following areas**:
HR Consulting
- Consulting on organizational design, reorganizations, redundancies, and substantial position changes to support strategic priorities and business performance. End to end managing of the respective processes with business leaders.
- Consulting to support DE&I priorities and initiatives which are aligned with enterprise and regional DE&I strategy, time-bound and not supported by a DE&I consultant.
- Implementing Human Capital Plan initiatives and driving outcomes aligned to the highest priority business strategies, maximizing use of people management metrics and data
- Advising on reward strategies and processes, and mitigating risks, in partnership with line of business or functional compensation teams.
- Consulting with leaders to assess workforce planning needs to identify gaps, solutions, and resources to align with the strategic goals and objectives.
- Working in conjunction with ER to provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance, absence and conflict management
- Consulting with leaders on talent management strategies from talent identification to development.
Sickness
- Partner with relevant COEs (HR Operations, ER, HRBPs, Benefits, EMEA H&S, EMEA DSRI, EAC and employment legal etc) to improve sickness absence management in EMEA (i.e. enhance employee and manager experience, increase efficiency and effectiveness, managerisks, align to market/best practice as appropriate) and align approaches where appropriate.
- Coach and advise line managers and leaders on communication, process, procedures for effective sickness absence management and support them in efforts to proactively manage sickness absence and return to work

**Required Qualifications**:

- An experienced HR professional with generalist experience in core HR disciplines.
- A passion for client support, with demonstrable experience of enhancing the employee experience by taking initiative and accountability as well as a proactive, thoughtful and comprehensive approach.
- Improving HR's contribution through driving effective and efficient end-to-end HR process execution and, client focussed support
- Experience of leading and delivering projects or discrete pieces of work in support of the business strategy in an international and matrixed organisation.
- A disciplined work approach, detail focused and highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Broad experience in core HR disciplines.
- Ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business leaders and HR partners.
- Proven, confident verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated influencing skills.
- Appreciation of DE&I considerations and multi-cultural sensitivity a must.
- Good understanding of UK/European employment legal environment.
- Professional HR qualification preferred but not essential.
- Experience in Banking/Financial Services or other highly client focussed sector preferred.
- Experience working through sickness absence cases preferred but not essential
