We are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor to supervise our clients Plant and Machinery. This role is supervising the equipment and not people.

6 month minimum contract.

£30,000 per annum - paid weekly.

**Responsibilities**
- Drive the process from the control room, ensuring the process is run safely and efficiently.
- Operate the fork-lift in the warehouse to load lorries and organize the warehouse.
- Ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness in the areas of responsibility.
- Support material dispatch in case lorry drivers need assistance when loading from the silos.
- Solve first level electrical problems
- To carry out routine production product testing and record the results in the quality system software (LIMS).
- To report immediately any production or quality problem to the shift manager and take any action within your control to rectify the problem.
- To ensure that all Company and Site quality procedures are adhered to.
- To follow the instructions given by the shift manager or production manager to meet the daily production and sales quality requirements
- To record environment monitoring results and report adverse results to the shift Manager.
- To follow environmental procedures and associated work instructions.
- To correctly segregate and dispose of waste.
- To keep the floors of responsibility in a good housekeeping and cleaning condition.
- To assist in achieving the site environmental improvement objectives.
- To follow the Work Instructions if any filter alarms are activated or if any emissions or spillages are found.
- To maintain bag filters in good working condition.
- To ensure statutory duties are met and that Managers & Company health and safety rules are followed when work is carried out.
- To ensure that you take care of your own health & safety. To be aware of the impact that your acts or omissions may have on other people.
- To co-operate with your manager to enable your employer to comply with its statutory duties for health & safety.
- To report immediately any injury or imminent risk of injury to the shift manager or production manager.
- Assess jobs’ risks before starting them.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift

**Experience**:

- plant: 3 years (preferred)
