Reed are delighted to be working with an excellent company in Lowestoft who are looking for a Recruitment and Talent Lead to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential for this to go permanent.

**Purpose of role**

This role will be working Monday - Friday office hours and the salary on offer is between £25,295 - £27,628.

**Main Duties**
1. Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the College's hiring needs for each position, and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations
2. Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent
3. Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up
4. Continuously partner with the people team and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting practices
5. Stay active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements
6. Work and form relationships with internal management teams to know the ins and outs of their departments and better understand their hiring needs and job specifications
7. Develop and release job postings on platforms, such as social media and job boards
11. Follow up on interview process status and update records in internal database
12. Provide coaching and guidance to others in recruitment best practice
13. Promote company’s reputation as ‘best place to work’

**Person specification**:

- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- 2 or more years’ experience in recruitment or HR.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills.
- Previous experience using job boards and HR software, databases and management systems.
- Experience conducting interviews and assessments face to face or via phone/video.
- Understanding of employment law.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
