Children's Residential Support Worker

Medsolve is proud to be working with a client who are recruiting for a **Children’s Support Worker.**
**This is a permanent role.**
**My client offers a salary of £11.50 per hour Circa £26,700 including sleep-in allowance of £50 per sleep.**
**The shift pattern is 2 on 4 off - 37.5 hours per week.**
**Other benefits include**:
- **Continuous training and professional development**:
- **£12.50 for overtime for any hours above and beyond 150 hours a month**:
- **Generous sleep-in rate of £50 per night**
The role of the **Support Worker**:
Is to provide help to children/young people and to develop individual identity in relation to gender, disability, religious, racial, cultural, linguistic background or sexual orientation. The Support worker will ensure that support/advice is provided for children/young people, who have been or are involved in sexual exploitation, whether as the victim or in abusing others. The Support worker will promote that the child/young person is involved with the planning of any such support programmes. To have a flexible approach to shift patterns which may sometimes require changes to rota at short notice.
