**Children Residential Support Worker - Northampton**

**Shift Pattern**:
In this role, you will be working 1 day on and 2 off.

The shift will be 8 am - 11 pm and it will be a sleep-in shift.

As a bonus, you will be paid £50 for every sleep-in you do

**As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, your duties will be**:

- **Child-Centred Care**: As a Children's Residential Support Worker, your primary responsibility is to provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for children in our residential facility. You will focus on their individual needs, well-being, and development.
- **Emotional Support**: Offer emotional support and mentorship to children, helping them build self-esteem, coping skills, and emotional resilience. Create a trusting and therapeutic relationship with each child in your care.
- **Daily Living Assistance**: Assist children with daily activities such as meal preparation, hygiene routines, homework, and recreational activities. Encourage and guide them in developing essential life skills.
- **Behavioural Guidance**: Implement behaviour management techniques to help children develop appropriate social and coping skills. Maintain a calm and structured environment to ensure their safety and well-being.
- **Communication**: Maintain open and effective communication with the children, their families, and other members of the team. Participate in team meetings, share observations, and contribute to care plans.
- **Record Keeping**: Keep accurate records of each child's progress, any incidents, and changes in behaviour or health. Ensure all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

**Requirements**:

- You must have an NVQ level 3 or 4
- You must also be a car driver
- 5 years of satisfactory references

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
