**The Role and Team**

**This position is working 25 days per year.**

We are looking for someone to provide a limited number of days Reception cover when our existing Receptionists are away from the business e.g. for holiday, sickness or training days. We estimate this will be around
**30 days per annum**.

This role is based in our Trowbridge Head Office working 8.30am-5pm with one hour lunch break usually taken between 13.30 and 14.30. Please note that this role is based in our Visitor Centre and is not a home working role.

Customer Service is at the heart of everything we do and as such we require a fantastic Receptionist (affectionately known as our “Director of First Impressions”) to deliver the very highest standard of guest care at our Head office reception in Trowbridge. As the very first person who meets and greets our visitors and customers at apetito (whether by phone or in person), we want you to wow them with your customer service skills leaving them with a lasting impression of our company that is second to none.

At apetito we host a variety of visits and events, where we offer people the opportunity to visit our premises and gain a better understanding of what we do. This can include visits from customers, school children, franchisees, dietitians, auditors etc. Visits tend to include an in-depth factory tour, a visit to our on-site laboratory, sampling new ranges in our new product development facility and having lunch in order to try products from across our business divisions. Front of house is vital to the success of these visits and as such we are looking for you to be creative and proactive, actively working with the Visits and Events Coordinator to make our formal visits a very special occasion for all.

We also serve some of the most vulnerable people in our community and as such we may receive telephone calls from confused elderly customers with Dementia or hearing impairments. We must offer them the utmost care, support and respect even though the conversations can, at times, be a little challenging.

It should not only be external visitors that are blown away by your amazing service, but internal colleagues too. As part of the HR team and an integral point of contract for internal staff, the role has some key administrative responsibilities which support HR and we want you to add value whether this be with support, information, messaging or maybe even introducing new ideas
