Office & Operations Assistant

**Office Administrator** required for a market-leading waste management company based on the 20/20 Business Park in Aylesford, Kent. **Immediate start.**
Mandatory requirements _(these will be verified during selection)_:
- Two years of experience in office administration
- Well organised, with exceptional attention to detail
- Used to working to tight deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Good working knowledge of other Microsoft Office suite of programs
- GCSE educated or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics
- Clear and legible handwriting
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English with excellent grammar
- Full UK driving licence (minimum two years) with own transport
- Eligible to work full-time in the UK
- Non-smoker; ACB is a non-smoking company
Desirable:
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards and auditing
- Speed typing
- WAMITAB
The role will include:
- Assist the admin team with day-to-day tasks
- Greeting visitors
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Hotel research and bookings, vehicle taxing, and maintaining the office filing system
- General reception, administrative, office and mess room duties
- Inventory management
- Preparation and processing of documentation, both manual and system based
- Updating vital departmental spreadsheets and bespoke database systems
- Undertaking internet-based research projects as required, reporting the relevant information
- Maintaining adequate stationery and postage levels, replenishing as required
Working hours:
- 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday with breaks for lunch
Payment and benefits:
- From £28,000 per annum depending upon age and experience
- Health insurance (after qualifying period)
- 30 days holiday including bank and public holidays per year
- NEST Pension contributions (if eligible)
