Equity Release Adviser

As LV= expand our Equity Release advice team this is a key appointment, you will assist with developing other team members as well as continuing to develop your own expertise. Having previous experience in a similar role you will embed yourself into LV= and our culture as we strive to be the best earnings protector and retirement savings provider in the UK.

This role will ideally be based on a Hybrid working pattern based from one of our offices (Hitchin, Bournemouth or Exeter) however some flexibility can be offered for those who do not reside within commuting distance of these locations.

**About you**:

- You will have excellent numeracy and IT skills
- Expert sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communicator, both written and oral
- You will be self-motivated and highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Ability to establish and build positive relationships
- Familiarity with a telephone environment would be advantageous
- You will have previous sales experience in a regulated environment
- Previous sales experience in equity release preferred

Regulatory Qualifications required
- Full CEMAP & Equity release CF1
- Relevant CPD records

**Details**:

- You will provide customer first equity release advice via customer fact find calls, ensuring each customer fully understands all the specific options available to them including, lump sum, drawdown, and interest only lifetime mortgages and to also identify where other solutions may be better for the client.
- You will maintain and continually develop skills and knowledge of financial services to ensure that changing needs of members are met you will also ensure that your knowledge is kept up to date and achieve and maintain competent advisor status in line with the T&C scheme.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyse MI and use this to improve performance and conversion
- You will take responsibility for the achievement of individual objectives and to contribute to the delivery of the overall business plan. In addition, contribute ideas and initiatives to further improve the service offered to our members.
- You will provide detailed customer recommendations based on their individual needs and objectives.
- You will take responsibility for achieving behavioural standards as set out in the balanced Scorecard and personal objectives.
- Contacting pre-qualified appointments & to conduct outbound call activity to ensure appointment volumes are maintained where necessary.
- Assist with the training and development of skills and knowledge to the wider team and act as a coach to new to role equity release advisers during Induction and attaining competence periods
