Fulham, United Kingdom Hammersmith & Fulham Council Full time

At Hammersmith & Fulham, we are ambitious in reforming the council to ensure this is a place for everybody. Within the Environment Department, we offer a wide range of services to help make the borough an attractive place, one that is safe, clean and green and one in which our residents take pride.

If you have an eye for detail, want to help make the environment cleaner and love solving problems, then this may be the position for you.

The Waste Management Team at H&F is looking for an energetic person with a positive outlook to monitor the waste and street cleansing contract. You'll already have waste management experience, being able to advise and support customers in resolving their concerns whilst helping design and provide solutions to improve the delivery of waste and street cleansing services in H&F. To keep on top of the Council’s Waste and Recycling Contracts, you will be confident in monitoring and recording data and use the information to improve contractor performance and services.

Applicants are expected to deliver a range of projects which will include areas such as health and safety, improving the resident experience and planning for future service improvements through new waste management solutions and innovations. You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and will work alongside our waste contractors. You will also support the delivery of all other aspects of waste services.

Our mission is to be the best council. To do this we need the best people to help build our vision. If you’re looking to develop your career in a fast-paced, professional environment whilst making a difference, then we look forward to hearing from you.
