**The Role**:
Working as a key part of the Group Finance Team and working closely in supporting the senior leadership teams, you will be accountable for delivering the highest standards of commercial finance, revenue management, business reporting and management accountingto effectively support and drive intelligence led, informed and organisationally sustainable commercial finance and revenue maximisation at both local and Group level.

The Finance Business Partner will:

- Work within and promote the ethos of the business.
- Provide professional, effective and compliant operational leadership and support
- The preparation of monthly financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries.
- The production of balance sheets and all balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
- Ensure financial and management reporting is complete, accurate and timely and is in accordance with appropriate accounting standards.
- Full support, performance management and direction of line staff as needed.Exceptional levels of both management and maximisation of revenue streams
- Participation in the formation and implementation of Financial and Business plans.
- Preparation of all ancillary monthly financial reports.
- Project Accounting / Contract Costing / Trading Stock / WIP.
- Excellent revenue recognition and credit management skills and experience.
- Provision of forecasting and budgeting as required
- Management and forecasting of organisational and project cash flows.
- Actively working with and leading the efficiency and effectiveness of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
- Direct support with delivery of annual statutory audits.
- Ensure that organisational revenue and cash flow is maximised and expenditure controlled.
- Interpretation and communication of financial data to non-financial Managers.
- Continuous Business Process Improvement - Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
- Transactional Quality management - ensuring accuracy of sales, purchases, wages, expenses, journals are entered into the accounting system and appropriate periodic reconciliation.
- Liaising with other function Managers to put the finances and accounts support in place and in context to drive wider organisational performance.
- Ensure compliance of PAYE and VAT transactional recording and reconciliation and on time submission of returns to HMRC.
- Ensure appropriate KPIs are presented to SMT’s within agreed timescales.
- Provide trading entity financial reporting and performance measurement.
- Provide recommendations for improvement in financial performance of operating businesses.
- Identification and implementation on surplus improvement and cost reduction initiatives
- Development of high-quality working relationships with leadership and operational teams.
