Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance assistant to join our Finance team supporting our businesses across the UK and Ireland. As part of a small team you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills, with daily interaction with our customers and colleagues across the business.

**Job Description**:

- About the role
- This is a Group support role that requires a positive and proactive attitude with the credibility to interact with senior staff and external customers. As Finance Assistant for Cultura you will be a key member of the Group finance team responsible for providing professional administrative support to both external and internal customers.

- We are Cultura Technologies, a successful software company that supports the Agri-Food industry. Many agri businesses across the UK, Europe and the US use our tools, which are designed to boost productivity and customer service through automating and streamlining tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Commercial aspects:
- Invoicing work to clients when completed, including annual renewals-
- Ensure all contracts are signed and stored accordingly-
- Process termination notices-
- Liaise with internal and external customers where appropriate in a professional manner to obtain information and address queries-
- Ensure internal company processes and procedures are followed to ensure both internal and external audit complianceFinance/Systems aspects:
- Processing supplier invoices-
- Reconciliation of supplier statements-
- Creating Purchase Orders-
- Credit Control-
- Bank - Daily bank reconciliations, processing weekly payment run and one-off payments such as PAYE-
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the Finance team-
- Administer finance systems-
- Ensure system rules are followed in line with Group policies and procedures.THE PERSON- Numerically literate with experience of the above tasks.-
- Experience of using several different IT systems.-
- Broad knowledge of software and information technology markets an advantage.-
- Good knowledge of MS Word & Excel.-
- Sharp attention to detail.-
- Ability to priortise workload for time sensitive activities-
- Good communication skills and good sense of humour.-
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable, with a flexible, “can do” attitude.-
- Self - starter, able-
