**Job Title**:Sales Operations Lead

**Location**: Hybrid

Are you super-organised, friendly and great at building relationships? Are you sales orientated? Do you like cake? We’re looking for a full or part time person to focus on growing our sales.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for The Cake Shop. We are a well-known and established business with exciting plans. As Sales Operations Lead, you will build relationships with current customers and promote awareness for new customers to support our revenue growth.

Key responsibilities:

- Researching corporate customers such as wedding venues, hotels, restaurants, universities, colleges, care homes, boarding schools, gift shops
- Preparing quotes and taking cake orders for customers
- Administering our sales orders using digital systems
- Taking payments for orders using digital tills
- Liaising with the Cake Decorators on customer orders and detail
- Managing a busy enquires inbox and ensuring all enquires receive a quick response
- Proven track record for sales growth
- Attending wedding fairs, conventions and shows where our cakes could be promoted
- Developing relationships with partners such as walking tours or businesses working in the wedding industry
- Liaising with the Shop Manager and Supervisors to ensure quotes and designs are prepared that meet the customers’ expectations
- After sales care, following up to check that customers were happy with their orders
- Resolving any complaints or negative feedback
- Contributing ideas to our plans for growth and expansion
- Building a customer database

**Experience**:
You must have:

- A natural ability to communicate well with people at all levels
- A passion for building lasting customer relationships
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills and be able to manage your time effectively
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence and skills with new technologies and IT in general, including databases, CRMs, MS Office and knowledge of Shopify would be an advantage
- Sales, account management or customer service experience
- Appreciation of the cake decorating process

**Hours**:Permanent part-time or full time hours - please let us know your preferred days and hours

**Benefits**:

- 28 days holiday including bank holidays pro rata
- Hybrid / remote working with some travel within Oxfordshire and surrounding area

**Rate of Pay**:
Negotiable and will depend on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
