**Consumer Insights Executive - Abbot House, Bury St Edmunds**

We are seeking an Consumer Insights Executive to join the Category Insights Team in Bury St Edmunds. This role will provide key support to the Market Information Manager (MIM) and Category Insights Controller (CIC), getting involved in a variety of projectsand learning on the job to develop as an insight professional. The Category Insights team's purpose is to drive strategic action grounded in insights. Our goal is to help B&B better understand how to build brilliant beer brands.

Greene King support agile working which means we would expect you to be in the office in Bury St Edmunds around 50% of your working week.

**KeyResponsibilities**
- Supporting the MIM in creating key reports and conducting ad-hoc analyses across a variety of data platforms (COGNOS on internal data and external platforms provided by Nielsen, CGA, Kantar).
- Key reports will focus on GK performance vs. competitors in both on-trade and off-trade, and performance against GK Dartboard (KPI dashboard)
- Developing selling stories for GK brands to key customers, in conjunction with Customer Marketing
- Brand Planning analysis (Where to Play)
- Insights to help Internal Comms team
- Advanced analysis tasks such as forecasting, and analysing the impact / ROI of activities
- Key quality control and data management tasks (linked to Nielsen and Kantar platforms)
- Translate data into insight and then drive strategic actions based on these
- This requires succinct and compelling communication of relevance of these insights to the business
- Liaise with agencies on key projects

**About you...**
- Experience of or study interest in the insight/research area
- Strong mathematical and analytical problem solving background is essential
- Knowledge of research methodology
- Project management knowledge and experience
- Can evidence the ability to analyse, contextualise and drive true insight from data/research
- Desirable to be educated to degree level but not essential
- Desirable to have knowledge of the Pub Market
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, with proven ability to influence people
- A self-starter with the ability to build strong working relationships, excellent team-working and interpersonal skills.
- Customer / consumer curious, passionate about understanding customers and innovating to meet their needs
- Demonstrates resilience, confidence and self-belief when working to tight deadlines
- Can evidence innovative and strategic thinking ability
- Clear communication style able to translate for different audiences
- Able to develop successful relationships with internal colleagues and as well as externally with a wide range of stakeholders / individuals and groups from a range of backgrounds
