**Role Overview**

This role will lead Automation in BGUKIT promoting the Automation strategy across many diverse teams. Initially, baselining across the teams to understand how Automation is already being used. Then producing an Automation strategy in alignment with the BGUKIT strategic landscape. This will lead to an understanding of where the biggest gains and risks are to breakdown and prioritise the work to add new automation capabilities, remove existing redundant processes and make existing processes leaner.

**What you’ll do**:

- Work with the Bupa units within BGUKIT and the businesses that they support to find out what they are already doing and ensure efficient collaboration and alignment across the board as much as possible and where it makes economic sense.
- Create a Hub of Automation Excellence that encourages collaboration and innovation across all teams. Work closely with IT delivery teams such as QA and Development where the opportunities for optimisation are greatest.
- Work closely with other communities of excellence to ensure the provisioning of Automation capabilities and best practises aligns with their roadmaps.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Executive level technology professional with significant experience delivering complex technology and organisational transformation.
- Significant knowledge and experience of Technology management and implementation of Automation tools used in both run and change, including oversight of delivery teams and technical decision making.
- Senior level stakeholder engagement expertise with the ability to understand product-level content as well as executive-level strategic thinking, and translate into technology service provision.
- Recognise the importance of technology in meeting sustainability and carbon reduction targets and act positively to support CRS initiatives.
