**Social Media and Marketing Executive**

Greenwich International Education offers a full range of English language learning programmes for young learners and adults both online globally and in person across the UK.

**Marketing and Social Media**

This role allows an enthusiastic and creative individual to explore and develop their experience within the marketing and social media world and is a perfect role for a recent graduate looking to put their creative skills and energy to good use.

**Reporting to**: Global Sales Director & Managing Director

**Probation**: 3 Months

**Purpose of Job**

**Marketing**
- To create a 'corporate' marketing strategy and implementation plan, working with the Global Sales Director (GSD)/Managing Director (MD) to identifying future opportunities for brand enhancement.
- To deliver marketing campaigns for all business areas in partnership with GSD/MD.
- Assistance in managing the marketing budget.
- To work with colleagues to develop marketing collateral and brand awareness.
- To monitor partner satisfaction through market research and feedback and identify actions and campaigns to enhance wherever possible.
- Update website.
- Create Online Social Media Ads, flyers, general presence to attract the right audience.

**PR**
- To identify press opportunities within the educational industry.
- To keep a diary of press communications activity
- To develop corporate messages and circulate proactively.

**Social Media**
- To be responsible for all social media activity (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) and managing corporate social media accounts.
- Create campaigns and ads for all courses.
- Monitoring, managing and altering ads & campaigns when required.
- To work with the GSD/MD and partners to support campaigns and initiatives
- Seek opportunities to improve the use of social media and develop 'followers'

**Key Success Areas**
- Raise the profile of GIE at national and international level.
- Greater external awareness, understanding and credibility for GIE.
- Proactive and co-ordinated press communications.
- Co-ordinated programme campaigns and social media activity.
- Improved media relations and press coverage (including published articles/blogs)

**Person Specification**
- Creative
- Photography skills is essential
- Photoshop skills is essential
- InDesign skills is essential
- Illustrator skills is essential
- Facebook / Instagram Ad/Campaign Knowledge skills is essential
- Flexibility
- Stamina, energy and enthusiasm to handle the demands from across the organization
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with a range of audiences from across a number of disciplines
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Able to attend events and other off-site functions
- Flexibility to support one off events during weekends.

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Salary**: £22,500.00 - £25,000.00 per year depending on experience

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
- Degree

**Experience**:

- Social Media Marketing: 2 years (required)
- Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (required)
