**About the role and our team**

Join our team as a Sterile Services Supervisor within Manx Care

In this post you will be accountable for organising, supervising and assisting the production and provision of sterile supplies to theatres, wards, departments and clinics across the Island, and will ensure that the services provided are responsive to the needs of users.

You will provide supervisory leadership to your team, overseeing their activities, and making adjustments to rotas and duties to ensure that their overall workload is consistently managed.

You will hold supervisory responsibility for designated work areas and will ensure that the quality of the service being delivered is to the agreed quality management standards, and that efficient working practices, policies and procedures are being adhered to.

**What can this role offer me?**

By joining us you’ll be stepping away from NHS pressures and demands, as the Island’s healthcare system is similar but separate to the UK NHS.As part of your role, you’ll have the chance to participate in our on call system for which you will receive an additional pay allowance.

You will have the opportunity to attend training courses when and where required in respect of further understanding about sterilisation and sterile production and the manufacturing of instrumentation, and disseminate to other staff.

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
