Our private family is seeking an experienced Housekeeper for their private family residence in Northern Ireland (near Belfast). Family of 5, consisting of Mum, Dad, 3 older teenage children (19, 17 & 15) and family dog. The family home is set over large private grounds. A caretaker takes care of maintenance and outdoors.

The gardens are attended to by a gardener on a weekly basis.

**This role can be a live in or live out role.**

Should you choose to live in, accommodation would be a beautifully furnished, self-contained guest apartment consisting of living area/kitchen/dining, bedroom & shower room. Located on the grounds of the family home with separate access.

**Please be advised unfortunately partners and pets cannot be accommodated.**

Great attention to detail is essential and must be happy to be flexible when required. A **full Driver's Licence** is essential to carry out the duties of the role.

**Duties include, but are not limited to**: " All cleaning and housekeeping of the home's interior to a very high standard. " All laundry and ironing, including organising dry cleaning. " Shopping for the household, stock taking & ordering supplies - local & online. Order & keep stock of larder and fresh food/drink. " Occasional cooking - simple family meals. " Keep the fridges and freezers clean, fully stocked and remove any outdated food " Running errands for the household " General organising & tidying " Wardrobe management, including packing & unpacking for travel " Organising & maintaining fresh flowers " Accepting & managing deliveries/post

The family spend 7 weeks in France during the summer. This time will be used in the main residence for deep cleaning with a week or two of dog sitting.

The children travel back & forth during the summer.

**Working schedule**: Five days per week, Monday - Friday. Very occasionally be on duty at weekends, when required, with days off in lieu.

**Working Hours**: approximately 45 hours per week. 7:30 - 6:30 with a 2-hour break at lunchtime (around 9 hours per day). Salary: Subject to experience & skill set.

**Benefits include**: Casual uniform provided.

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
