Having promoted several members of their FM function, our client is seeking a forward-thinking Assistant Facilities Manager to join the growing team on a mixed-use estate in east London. This one-of-a-kind Estate is comprised of commercial office space aswell as retail and leisure amenities which certainly gives it a great sense of character and vibrancy.

You will be joining the established FM team in providing assistance to the newly promoted Facilities Manager which entail will provide a top-tier total FM service to your tenants. Whilst this is a site-based role, there will be an element of flexibilityand opportunity to work from home too.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the Facilities Manager with the day to day running of the estate
- Overseeing the management of contractors across both hard and soft service suppliers;
- Ensuring statutory compliance throughout the development;
- Conducting all facilities administration tasks, including the raising of POs
- Liaising with tenants with regard to their service requests, and building a lasting rapport with key representatives;
- Undertaking regular inspections of the properties on site;
- Covering the Facilities Manager during any periods of absences

As the successful applicant, you'll have demonstrated a degree of Facilities Management to a certain extent, and also have experience managing hard and soft FM contracts. You'll be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn the insand outs of a total FM service.
- An IOSH certificate would be desirable for this role.
