Senior Product Marketing Specialist

The Senior Product Marketing Specialist, has the responsibility to work with Product Marketing Manager and RMDs on the adaptation of global campaigns and programs for execution in the region to establish strong marketing funnel. This role will be a key interface to represent sales and marketing needs with divisional and global Marketing. This position will develop and drive marketing programs resulting in measurable impact on demand, leads, revenue and market share gains. Partnering with the Commercial team and Digital team, this role will provide direct marketing, web, events and training support. This role will also provide a perspective on market dynamics, competitive information, customer requirements and sales force pipeline needs.
- Job Duties:
- Collaborate and align with business partners to develop annual marketing strategy and plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Implement marketing programs for assigned product portfolios that drive brand awareness, demand generation, pipeline health and new contacts.
- Work with Product Marketing peers, the global teams and regional team on developing go-to-market strategy for new product launches (NPIs) to achieve revenue goals and market adoption.
- Collaborate with digital teams that drive brand building, lead generation and customer engagement.
- Coordinate to arrange marketing events to create customer touch points and to promote the brand, products & services.
- Share best practices, effective strategies and high ROI campaign approaches with the global and regional marketing teams around the world.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Keys to Success:
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in Bioscience, Biology or Chemistry; MS desirable.
**Experience**
- Min. 3 years of marketing experience with a good understanding of marketing concepts and practice
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Significant knowledge and experience with Life Sciences and related instrumentation and consumables
- Proven experience and capabilities in strategy development and execution
- Demonstrated results driving targeted campaign initiatives utilizing web, search, social media, advertising and events channels
- Capacity to execute the strategic focus of the Thermo Scientific brand, the life sciences industry, analytical instrumentation, consumables and software.
- Marketing Excellence: be quality driven; executes to strategy focusing on generating profitable growth for the business. Be committed to continuous process improvement.
- Market/Customer Focused. Demonstrates and acts on customer needs and insight. Uses market/customer information to identify issues and opportunities
- Ability to plan, implement and measure with a strong sense of urgency to drive results.
- Analytical with excellent communication skills - both oral and written, and strong organizational skills.
- Collaborative approach to developing and sharing strategy, tactics and analytics.
- Comfortable with using different design software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign)
