Pertemps Work Based Learning and Skills team are delighted to be working with an award-winning independent training provider that are looking to add AEB Skills Tutors to their team in Dudley to support with the delivery of qualifications up to Level 2.Winnerof TES apprenticeship programme of the year 2020, they are proud of their innovative and tailored approach which has a lasting impact on the lives of learners.They provide training via Apprenticeships or via ‘alternative to education’ routes from their centresacross the UK.
To be considered for this role you must be able to travel to their centre in Dudley for 3 days per week, with the other 2 being home based.
**The package available for the position of AEB Skills Tutor**: - Basic salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
- 25 days holiday plus public holidays and additional days over Christmas

**Duties of the AEB Skills Tutor**: - Delivery of AEB qualifications.
- Qualifications delivered could include Business Administration, ICT, Warehousing or CSCS/Construction.
- Delivery will be split between Face-to-Face sessions at our Dudley Centre and Online via Microsoft Teams.
- Devising Learner Journeys and Action Plans taking into consideration various learning styles and individual learner needs.
- Developing schemes of work and lesson plans as well as contributing to the on-going creation and development of new and innovative training materials/resources.
- Embedding Functional Skills, Prevent, British Values and Safeguarding throughout delivery and documenting it in lessons plans and Schemes of Work.
- Achieving a minimum of Grade 2 in all internal and external inspections, monitoring visits and observations.
- Achieving a success rate of 95% for accredited qualifications. Attending curriculum working groups where necessary.
- Administrating and completing paperwork associated with programme within required timescales.

**Skills, experience and Qualifications required for the position of Business and ICT Skills Tutor**: - Hold a recognised teaching qualification - PTLLS, AET, DTLLS, etc.
- Have vocational experience or a relevant qualification in one of the following - Business Administration, ICT, Warehousing, Manufacturing, CSCS or construction.
- Have experience of AEB or other work based qualifications.
- Ideally have a minimum of Level 2 Functional Skills or equivalent in Maths and English.
