About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tutor to join our team at SMART Education Recruitment. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students in achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tutoring services to students in a home setting, working one-on-one with students of various ages and backgrounds.
  • Plan and prepare engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Support students in re-engaging with education, promoting a love for learning and academic success.
  • Utilize a creative and adaptable teaching style to engage students and promote academic growth.
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE) or extensive tuition experience supporting English, Maths, and/or Science.
  • Experience working with students with additional learning needs (SEN/SEMH) and disengaged young people or looked-after children.
  • An enhanced DBS check or the willingness to acquire one.
