A home from home Outstanding rated nursery in Taunton is looking for a dedicated, passionate and organised Level 3 practitioner to lead their baby room. If you are looking for that next step or feel you have what it takes to run a baby room this could be for you

You will be responsible for a team of three other staff (minimum) within the baby room. You will be required to have an up to date knowledge of the EYFS and able to provide a stimulating environment for the babies to thrive in their learning and development. You will be a Key person for a group of children being responsible for their planning, observation and assessment using Tapestry (online development journal). You will need to have good communication and leadership skills as well as being calm and having a sense of humour whilst providing a high standard of care and learning in line with the EYFS.

The nursery has been running since 2001 and is currently rated as Outstanding by Ofsted. You will work 40 hours a week over 4 days. The nursery offer various training and benefits to their staff including online CPD courses, staff training, free parking, free annual flu jab, cycle to work scheme, discounted childcare and increased holidays for loyalty of 5 and 10 years employment with them.

The nursery is within 1 mile of Taunton train station and there are two different age groups within the nursery building. The babies are located on the upper floor and consists of a play area, bathroom, dining room and sleep room. The nursery has a good sized garden with a creative and fun environment for all weathers.

Hours of work: 8am-6pm
