Applications are invited for a Teaching Fellow in Medical Education to work with a team working with Dr David Nunan and Professor Kamal Mahtani on teaching programmes in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, principally the MSc in Evidence-Based Health Care (EBHC) Teaching and Education and the MSc in Global Healthcare Leadership.

This is an exciting new opportunity to contribute to teaching at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences in Oxford. The successful applicant will support the vision to develop and grow the MSc in EBHC Teaching and Education. Responsibilities will include module coordinator duties, assisting students in their studies as well as playing an active role in collaborating with colleagues across the MSc to sustain and develop the programme, for example by supporting recruitment and admissions activities (e.g., prospective student interviews) and providing academic input into the marketing, networking, communication and long-term strategic growth.

Additional roles will include supporting educational programmes across the NDPCHS, including the MSc in Global Healthcare Leadership, delivered in partnership with the Saïd Business School. This will include supervisory, assessment and dissertation support.

You will have experience in the delivery of post-graduate teaching in medical/healthcare related topics as well as excellent communication, time-management and project development skills. Experience in medical education and/or healthcare leadership are not essential criteria, but are desirable.

You will be based in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work, but there may be the opportunity for occasional remote working as agreed a with your line managers.
