Internal Communication Manager

We are working with a leading FMCG client with offices in West London, and they are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Manager to come on board and join their growing team.

In this position, you will work with and advise the Executive Leadership team across all business

areas, including Finance, HR and Operations. You will plan, manage and deliver engaging and impactful internal communications plans and campaigns to engage, inspire, inform and connect your employees.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with HR to produce strong narratives to increase employee engagement, learning and development strategies and event programmes.
- Support/lead on key internal communications projects including sustainability comms, future of work comms with the wider teams across the business
- Plan the communications around cultural change, including our client’s purpose, mission, values and cultural initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and programs
- Use data and metrics to enhance our offsite communications programme with their dispersed workers.
- Manage and develop the intranet in partnership with IT and HR
- Support on delivering CEO/leadership comms (e.g. videos, leadership briefings), acting as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team.
- Effectively brief and manage internal communications agencies and other third-party resources, such as translation and design agencies.
- Build and develop an internal network of champions
- Provide tools and templates that can be used and adapted by the local teams and develop and deliver internal communications training to build capabilities in the markets

Key skills and experience required.
- Internal Communications management experience
- Strategic and creative thinking
- Experience translating the organisation's strategic plan into engaging content for its workforce
- Previous project management experience
- Being able to manage multiple communications projects
- Experience using a wide range of internal communications tools and platforms
- Excellent copywriting skills - able to adapt your style and tone for various communications channels
- Experience translating complex material into clear and compelling copy
- Ability to work with senior leaders with confidence and credibility
- High-level stakeholder management skills
- High proficiency in the use of technology and reviewing data and measurements
- Experience supporting change and growth in an organisation through effective management of internal communications
