To do this we need a team of dedicated, passionate, and enthusiastic people and have a fantastic opportunity for a Community Partnerships Organiser to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Head of Engagement (Programme), you’ll help us to co-ordinate communities across the District to engage with multiple creative programmes. You’ll be ensuring our creative community engagement offers are well-communicated, welcoming, and efficiently organised. You will be working with local community centres and partners to help us to reach as broad a demographic as possible.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Liaising with partners to information gather and understand their programmes, priorities, and spaces to help inform decisions about where we work across the district.
- Be the main conduit on a number of engagement / programme elements to ensure strong communication and to inform decisions on where and how we work across the district.
- Gathering participants and partner information securely and transparently.
- Communicating clearly and efficiently with a range of participants, creative practitioners, and the delivery team to ensure information is clearly shared.
- Working with the Head of Engagement (Programme) and Programme Producers to develop FAQ’s and sign-up processes for participants across different projects.
- Acting as key collaborator between programme and engagement, and spotting opportunities for more engagement and audience development/ signposting.
- To work with the Safeguarding Team to ensure appropriate safeguarding systems are in place, shared and are adhered to.
- **You will have**:

- Experience in an arts administration or community role, where communication and organisation were key.
- Adept at developing and co-ordinating schedules and logístical planning for programmes.
- Booking and organising transport and space for participants.
- Partnership working with community / local partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders (including participants, community centres, creative practitioners).
- The ability to take the initiative to improve systems and structures to make them more efficient and work in a dynamic way.
- Skill at identifying barriers to engagement and a proactive problem solver.

**It would also be great if you have**:

- A good understanding of safeguarding
- Experience of setting up and using databases
- Knowledge of Data Protection regulations
- An interest in or passion for arts, culture and heritage
- An ability to communicate in one of the four other languages most widely spoken in the district (Urdu, Panjabi, Bengali or Polish), or BSL
- Knowledge of the Bradford District, Yorkshire and UK cultural infrastructure
- Knowledge / practice in the social model of disability

**Benefits include**:

- Annual salary of £27,000.
- 37 hours per week worked flexibly Monday to Friday with occasional evenings and weekends. Predominantly office (city centre) and community centre based.
