**Learning Support Assistant - Chester-le-Street**

Milk Education are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant for a Primary School in Chester-le-Street to work on a full-time, long-term basis starting as soon as possible

**Learning Support Assistant role & responsibilities**:

- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.
- Support students consistently whilst responding to their individual needs.
- Deliver catch-up/intervention sessions.
- Work with the class teacher in planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons as appropriate.

**Learning Support Assistant Non-negotiables**:

- Recent and relevant experience working with children and young people (preferably in an educational setting).
- Good Numeracy and Literacy skills.
- Empathy and compassion - passionate about providing a nurturing learning environment.
- The ability to work under the guidance of the class teacher.
