The Leadership and Succession Programme Support Officer will play a key role in supporting the delivery, administration and management of the Leadership & Succession programme. Working with Programme Managers, senior staff across the health and social care system and other external stakeholders, this role will support the successful progression of activities against identified priority areas. This role is critical to the co-ordination of this fast-paced, exciting new programme of work and will be responsible for specific elements of project plans within their remit.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Providing support to the Leadership and Succession Programme Managers undertaking designated requests for task and activity management, that are appropriate to the grade.

Support the delivery, administration and management of the Leadership & Succession programme including project groups and stakeholders. The officer will work with the Programme Managers, senior staff across the health and social care system, and other external stakeholders, to successfully progress actions against identified priority areas.

Provide responsive and efficient personal assistant and secretarial services to the Programme Managers, working with the highest levels of professionalism and effective communication skills in order to coordinate highly sensitive, complex and confidential information with a broad range of individuals including Government Officials, Executives, Senior Clinical Staff and Senior Managers.
