Senior Children's Residential Support Worker

Based in our modern, warm and calm residential home in South Shields where we can care for up to 4 young people aged 7 up to 18 with learning disabilities and complex needs, you will have natural leadership and organisational skills to ensure the home runs smoothly and the young people feel safe and happy to express themselves at all times.

Experience working in residential care with young people is essential for the Senior position, alongside a Level 3 qualifcation (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence,

Your role will involve supporting young people daily and providing them support and guidance, as this is a leadership role you will also support the welfare of the small team we have in place.

You will be committed to making a difference in their lives and confident to lead a shift, ensure care plans are adhered to and all staff supervisions and paperwork completed accurately

Salary for the role is £27,520 -£28,976 per annum and the shift patterns will be a mix of early, late and sleeps. A host of other bonuses including MediCash scheme, company pension, time served bonuses and a generous annual leave allowance to name a few.

We will put you on our Passport to Manage training and allow you to get your Level 5. This will give you a clear pathway into a management role like so many other of our staff we believe in investing in your future.
