We are looking for 1 experienced customer service administrators to join our busy office-based team. The roles will be responsible for delivering an effective, high quality customer service, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with the upmost care and attention. The roles will also be responsible for supporting the business with varied administrative duties and will need to demonstrate a positive and hand-on approach.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to join B & K Services’ friendly team in our busy Wallsend office.

**Duties**:

- Process customer bookings and requests, ensuring customer information is collected and recorded accurately
- Identify customer problems, recommending our services to resolve customer need
- Handle and resolve complaints and re-calls, providing appropriate solutions and expediting complex queries to senior management
- Communicate with customers to ensure overdue invoices are paid, taking BACS and cash payments and maintaining accurate financial records
- Liaise with engineers to allocate bookings and ensure all work is carried out in a timely manner
- Support the business with administration including filing, data entry, post and the typing of invoices, quotations, service letters and reports
- General cleaning responsibilities shared between all office employees
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required

**Person Specifications**:
Essential:

- Proven customer service experience
- Experience in a fast-paced office environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Good typing skills (intermediate - expert preferred)
- Strong computer skills with a good understanding of Windows and MS Office Word and Excel
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work effectively under pressure
- Ability and openness to learn new skills and responsibilities as required

Desirable:

- A good understanding of heating, electrical, plumbing and building services
- Familiar with Sage Accounting software

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour
