**Role Summary**:
Are you passionate about safeguarding privacy and ensuring data security?

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team as our new Group Data Protection Officer (DPO). This senior role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to protecting the personal data of our customers and employees.

This role is a hybrid position aligned with our offices in London.

**Here's what you’ll be doing:
- Monitoring and ensuring group compliance with global data protection laws and regulations.
- Conducting regular audits and risk assessments to align data processing activities with legal requirements.
- Developing and implementing group data protection policies and guidelines.
- Resolving data protection-related complaints and incidents.
- Designing and delivering training programs to raise data privacy awareness.
- Promoting a culture of data protection throughout the organisation.
- Conducting PIAs for new and existing projects to identify and mitigate privacy risks.
- Evaluating data protection practices of vendors and third-party partners.
- Developing and implementing a data breach response plan, coordinating with stakeholders and authorities.

**Here’s what we’re looking for**:

- Proven experience as a Data Protection Officer or similar role within the financial services sector at a global level.
- Experience liaising with regulatory bodies, particularly the ICO.
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPP/A, CIPM, CIPT).
- Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional data protection requirements.
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
