**The Role**:
**Sales & Marketing Coordinator**

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our experienced, award-winning & growing Ayr & Stranraer Agency. The position will be based in our Ayr office.

As a local agency of NFU Mutual we aim to deliver exceptional service and sell the NFU Mutual product range across our region to customers old and new, who are at the core of everything we do. **About the Role**
The full-time position of 35 hours will be within our working week. You will play a key supporting role in planning prospecting campaigns, be the first point of contact and proactively pursue sales opportunities and book appointments to develop the customer relationship. You will work alongside the team to sell Personal and Commercial insurance products and actively encourage cross selling opportunities to current customers. Full supportive training will be provided and you’ll also have plenty of opportunity to continually develop your knowledge and skills.

**Duties will also include the following**:

- Develop and use CRM practice and tools that capture data effectively and efficiently
- Follow a clearly defined prospecting and sales process
- Build good working relationships
- Understand the needs of your business customers
- Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale

**About you**
We’re all about warm, positive, outgoing personalities, quality conversations and a customer-first attitude, so you will bring a willingness to learn and a ‘go getter’ drive to prospect and make sales. Previous experience within the insurance market is not required, but previous experience in reaching out to potential customers and providing information in a bid to gain sales in an efficient and compliant manner is essential. We provide a supportive on-going learning environment, which takes place in house.

**Benefits & Rewards**
- £22,000 + Based on experience
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Auto-enrolment pension contribution
- Working Week Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
