Location: Reigate - Hybrid (40% office, remainder at home)

**The Role**
As the Accounts Assistant, you will assist the Life Accountant specifically in supporting the preparation of information for internal, external, and statutory reports, maintaining effective processes, records, systems, and controls.
**Key Responsibilities**- To prepare information for internal, external, and statutory reports and accounts.- To perform a range of daily financial processes and maintain effective controls.- To identify and implement opportunities to make improvements.- To perform user acceptance systems testing (UAT) for changes made to accounting systems and controls (policy systems, G/L, and other finance systems) as required.
**Skills and Experience**- Basic accounting experience together with good Excel and computer literacy skills- An Accounting or Business degree is desirable OR you are studying towards accounting qualifications- Good knowledge of data management and analysis- Excellent attention to detail
