**Title: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant Position in Hillingdon**

**About Us**:
The Supply Room is currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team in Hillingdon. This role involves working closely with a 1:1 pupil under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO. Responsibilities include implementing intervention programs, supporting classroom learning, and fostering social and emotional development.

**Position Overview**:
**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and ICT skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and support pupils and colleagues.
- Familiarity with the needs of pupils with learning differences, including ASD, Social Communication Difficulties, Sensory Processing Issues, and Anxiety, is advantageous.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Demonstrable levels of numeracy and literacy.
- Experience in supporting children with additional needs, including those with EHC plans.
- Experience working with children or young people.

**Personal Qualities and Attitudes**:

- Ability to use initiative and work effectively within a team.
- Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic demeanour.
- Sensitivity to the needs of others and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Positive rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
