If the answer is yes then keep reading We've partnered with a phenomenal business in the manufacturing/constructionspace who are looking to recruit a Buyer for their Procurement department. This role is the result of an internal promotion and will suit someone with exposure to a purchasing role ideally within construction or manufacturing.

**The role**:

- Provide support to colleagues within the Procurement Department where necessary, all working towards a common goal
- Support colleagues working on specific projects
- Ensure necessary goods are bought within budget and within the timescales agreed
- Procure goods through both individual sourcing methods and via tenders
- Ensure company procedures are adhered to at all times
- Build professional, long-standing working relationships with other departments
- Seek more efficient and effective working methods - ever looking for ways to drive down spend
- Regularly analyse and maintain materials lists
- Be mindful of production forecasts and storage/manufacturing capacity and schedule material requisitions based on this

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Have experience in a purchasing role
- Experience within construction or manufacturing is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively and independently
- Be able to juggle multiple workloads at any one time
- Have a keen attention to detail

**In return you will be entitled to**:

- Annual salary of between £25,000-27,000 depending on experience
- Annual bonus of up to 12.5% of salary
