We provide our clients with a complete design and consultancy service developing solutions from feasibility through to detailed design.
**Key Responsibilities**
The role will involve working within an experienced survey team, on a variety of sites throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK, utilising RTK GNSS, Total Stations & Laser Scanning equipment. Due to the nature of the work, a flexible approach to working hours is essential, as is a willingness to stay away when necessary.
Responsibilities will include:
- Carry out land surveyor duties
- Support the management of day to day operations of the survey team
- Ensure high quality site and drawing deliverables
- Working with IKM engineering team to support multi disciplinary projects.
- More than 2 years’ experience of surveying: topographic surveys, measured building surveys
- A good knowledge of the latest survey technology including: Robotic Total Stations & GPS Receivers (Trimble/Leica), AutoCAD experience, LSS (preferred but not essential)
- Good experience of processing survey data and issuing drawings/reports
- Experience of preparing method statements and risk assessments
- Appropriate academic qualifications
- Competent working alone and in teams
- A flexible approach to working and a willingness to stay away from home when necessary
- Driving licence
