The post holder will be an integral member of the department with varied responsibilities according to service needs which will include, but not be limited to working towards:

- Answering and redirecting enquiries as appropriate.
- Providing effective and efficient administrative support.
- Preparation and manipulation of data; including data entry.
- Working with complex figures and spreadsheets.
- Working to support a busy finance team.

To attend mandatory training where necessary.

To ensure completion of all required Training, Study and Exam elements within the apprenticeship scheme within the 15 months’ timeframe.

A team member supporting the Technical Accountant and wider team in delivering financial management services.

Working towards the collation and input of accurate data into the general ledger (specifically journals and budget amendments) to ensure the accuracy of the LCHS financial information.

The post holder will work towards proposing changes to working methods and procedures, where required, to respond to changes in accounting guidance and new developments in practice.

The post holder is required to work towards exercising their own initiative within clearly defined occupational policies & procedures; and work is managed rather than supervised.

To undertake general office duties using but not limited to telephone, scanner, and computer.

To support colleagues with general administration and finance duties as and when required.
