Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc reporting on all elements of factory performance, including labour efficiencies, material variance, and standard costings.
  • Ensure clarity of the expected/actual impact of new operational initiatives, supporting investment justification where required and measuring returns post-launch.
  • Act as the financial guardian for costings, ensuring they reflect reality, outputs are clear, well-presented, and have sufficient comparables for approval.
  • Collaborate with the operations team and senior finance business partner to calculate, justify, and update standards regularly to reflect expected performance accurately.
  • Develop and deliver robust short-term and long-term forecasts of factory efficiencies based on clear assumptions, signed off by the operational team, and with explanation for any changes in expected trends.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of functional objectives and provide input to site management control and reporting system (Redzone).

About You:

We are looking for a qualified or part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent accountant with experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing or FMCG environment. You should have strong analytical and communication skills, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to manage large volumes of data into usable formats.
