**OPERATIONS OFFICER**

SaxonAir is looking for an exceptional generalist who wants to dedicate themselves to private aviation as an operations officer. SaxonAir Helicopters is part of Klyne Aviation Group - helicopter and jet management, charter, brokerage, and Fixed Base Operator.

**ABOUT THE TEAM**

**THE ROLE**

We are looking for an exceptional dedicated person, preferably with some operations control experience, who has the potential to develop in a variety of directions and take on different roles within the helicopter team. Working in this role will involve solving a wide range of operational and logístical problems.

Specifics include:

- Maintain and develop customer and supplier relations
- Manage and coordinate aircraft availability, handling and third-party services
- Optimise the schedule
- Flight planning and flight following
- Sales, trip and customer support
- Timely internal and external communication with stakeholders
- Support business priorities and needs
- A strong ability to communicate through writing. Attention to detail is vital
- Ability to complete projects with high autonomy
- Self-motivation and team spirit
- Foresight, awareness and the ability to problem solve
- Openness in giving and receiving feedback
- Mindful of lessons learnt
- A drive to question and improve everything about our organisation
- Diplomacy. You'll be good with people
- Discipline and focus
- Capacity to identify and prospect new customers
- Proficiency with MS suite of programs. Leon, Schedaero and Centrik knowledge is an advantage
- Ultra-high net worth, luxury and private aviation sector experience is desirable, as is CRM literacy

**FUNDAMENTALS**

The team is in Norwich. Our salary policy is to pay rates competitive with industry. Given prevailing salary levels for the kind of skill level we are looking at, we expect salary to start at £20-25k. Target-based bonus structure. Career training, coaching and mentoring. Workplace pension. 28 days holiday, familiarisation trips (jets and helicopters) and personal development days.
