Just 13 miles south of Manchester and a 15-minute train journey, is the attractive market town of Wilmslow. Here amongst the boutique shops and independent cafes and bars is the stunning Playdemic studio. Acquired by EA in 2021, Playdemic is home to the top 10 grossing, BAFTA winning mobile smash - Golf Clash. Having opened at the beginning of 2020, our award-winning, bespoke studio space offers conventional desk space as well as indulgent breakout areas, meeting rooms and alternative workspaces. The office has been designed to create an environment that encourages and allows our team to do their very best work.

We're looking for a Game Designer to join the Golf Clash team at Playdemic Reporting to the Lead Designer, you will collaborate and liaise with Production, Designers, Artists, and other content creators to produce designs and input data for our weekly releases.

You will also share frequent updates with your senior peers and other design team members. Once settled in the role, you will assist the design team and take an active level of ownership over features you develop.

**Responsibilities**:
**Feature Planning**:

- Collaborative ideation of new game features and systems.
- Efficient and legible documentation of features.
- Collaborating with the product management team to prioritise feature development.
- Working alongside the development team to ensure features are developed in line with design.

**Key Skills**:

- Experience working on a live game, working on feature design within the constraints of a release schedule.
- Experience working in a Game development studio.
- Prior experience with game databases and data structures.
- Strong Excel experience, especially concerning balancing game systems.
- Technical skills and knowledge of game development tools including Confluence and JIRA.
- A keen eye for detail to achieve the highest standards of quality.
- Experience supporting games, with a significant user base, through maintenance, new feature deployment and live operations.
- Interest in mobile games, with an understanding of the free-to-play genre.
