Position Summary

Bring our games to life by creating math models that drive slot gameplay. Work with a group of exceptionally talented mathematicians and game designers to provide the best gaming experience for the slot player.

As a member of the Games Design Team, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the design and development of new gaming content. In addition to contributing to the initial concept, you will be expected to produce software simulation and math model to evaluate and evolve the concept with other members of the design team.

The ideal candidate will be a math or software engineering graduate looking for their first or second role. They will have strong A-level grades including Maths and be confident in their programming skills. Ideally, this will be within C++, but C# or a related language will be acceptable. A good understanding of spreadsheet math modelling is also required. Candidates who possess graphical or musical ability in addition to the core requirements will also have the opportunity to utilise this skill.

Full training and mentoring will be given along with the potential for career development opportunities.

Essential Job Functions

Contribute to the initial concept design of casino/slot machine games Produce software simulation and/or spreadsheet math model of concepts. Maintain a thorough and current knowledge of the markets that the company is involved in Develop and proof math models for slot games that demonstrate game probabilities and return to player via theoretical calculation and/or simulation Code, test, and debug simulations of slot games to gather statistics and verify the accuracy of math models Collaborate with software engineers and math test engineers to ensure math models are properly implemented and compliant with applicable regulations Collaborate with other mathematicians and game designers to brainstorm new game mechanics and to determine the mathematical feasibility of concept math models Develop an understanding of competitive products and technologies

Qualifications

Math's Degree (or equivalent) A grade in A-level Maths Software development skills, ideally within C++, but can be C# or related Spreadsheet math modelling Enthusiasm for gaming products
