Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom Accord Healthcare Full time

**Production Coordinator**

**Role**: Full-time, Permanent Contract
**Location**: Fawdon, Newcastle upon Tyne
**Salary**: £22,672pa + bonus + benefits
**Working Hours**: Monday - Friday (08:00 - 16:30)
**The Role**
We’re seeking a methodical and detail-focused Production Coordinator to produce the Batch Packing Records (BPRs) for our pharmaceutical products to enable efficient production and packing cycles; you will then ensure the timely return of all completed documentation from the lines for compliance checks, before submitting to our Quality department to support the product’s release. In this responsible role, you will liaise with our Planning function to understand the production schedule requirements and use our in-house systems to collate the necessary BPR documentation, labels and line logbooks to allow the timely picking of required components for the Production and Packing lines. Once the line activity is complete, you will oversee the return of all the administered documentation and complete the required compliance validation checks to ensure all data has been completed and input correctly to meet our GMP standards. Where errors have occurred (e.g. missing information, process deviations), you will raise the necessary Change Controls and CAPAs (if appropriate), return the relevant paperwork to the responsible individual to inform them of the issue and request the additional information to close out any issues on our Quality Management System (QMS). Once complete, you will submit the BPR documentation to our Quality department for final checks. To support the smooth running of the department, you’ll collate BPR completion data and produce regular reports for Management to help monitor our ‘Right First Time’ targets and support our Continuous Improvement initiatives across the site. Training is available for this role.
**The Person**
- Experience in a similar fast-paced administration or coordination role, ideally with some experience of working in a regulated or manufacturing environment.
- Strong organisation skills with a methodical approach and good eye for detail; able to manage own workload to meet deadlines, even in a busy and changeable environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken), able to build relationships at all levels, provide clear feedback to improve standards and navigate cultural differences.
- Proactive team player, keen to learn and understand how things work and not afraid to question existing processes if a clear improvement can be seen.
- Good level of basic Maths and It skills, comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to pick up new company systems quickly; experience of using an electronic information management system beneficial.
- Some understanding of ‘Good Manufacturing Practice’ would be advantageous

**The Rewards**

In return, we offer a competitive salary package (with bonus scheme), a generous pension scheme, holidays and offer a range of other benefits to support our team. Not to mention the opportunity to be part of a progressive and expanding business with increasing global reach, and the support of ongoing training and development.
